Photography

I think the first time I became interested in photography was when I was six, and I found a dying monarch butterfly in front of my house. I had never seen one up close before so I took my mom’s old film camera (which my sister still uses today) and took about 20 photos of it. I got in trouble later for taking 20 blurry pictures of an insect, but I remember really liking the “kshchh” sound of the shutter. I wasn’t allowed to touch the camera after that, but that was when I realized I liked taking pictures.

Now, I take pictures all the time. Here is a more recent picture I took of a monarch butterfly. I sat still for over an hour to get close and it STILL came out blurry, although I think I improved a lot since I was six.
